The National Examination Council has announced adjustment in its timetable for the Senior School Certificate Examination (External), due to the forthcoming Ondo State governorship election.
This development was stated on the NECO website on Monday.
In what was titled, “Adjusted 2024 SSCE External Timetable,” NECO asked candidates to check the revised timetable for changes.
The notice read: “Please note that the 2024 SSCE External Timetable has been adjusted due to the Ondo Governorship Election on Saturday, 16th November, 2024.
“The adjusted timetable is now available and should be reviewed alongside the original timetable. Be sure to check the changes for Saturday, 16th November.
“Additional news remains that the important registration deadlines remain as follows: standard registration closes on 6th November 2024, with late registration commencing on 7th November.
“Walk-in registration will be available from 13th November, both of which will attract additional fees.
“Examination candidates are advised to act promptly and stay informed to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.
“The registration deadline for the SSCE External Examination is 6th November 2024. Late registration starts on the 7th November, and walk-in registration begins on the 13th November. Both attract a fee.”
