The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos State Chapter, in collaboration with Addefort Limited, is set to host the 12th edition of the Lagos Public Relations Stakeholders’ Conference, focusing on the theme: “Policy Communication: Youth, Education and National Development.”
Scheduled to hold at the Agip Recital Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan Lagos on Thursday August 28, 2025, this year’s conference will convene key stakeholders from government, academia, media, civil society, and the private sector to explore the critical role of strategic communication in shaping policies that impact Nigeria’s youth and education sector, – pivotal pillars for national growth and development.
According to Dr Samuel Ayetutu, Chairman, NIPR, Lagos Chapter, “The 2025 edition of the conference seeks to amplify the urgency of aligning communication strategies with inclusive policy frameworks.”
“Among others the conference is expected to address Policy Communication; Education as a Pillar of National Development; Youth Empowerment and Employment; Digital Transformation in Education and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Education” he said.
Mr Olabamiji Adeleye, Lead Consultant/CEO Addefort, emphasized the need to bridge the gap between policy formulation and public understanding. “Effective policy communication builds consensus, accountability, and innovation—especially in education where youth engagement is non-negotiable,” he said.
”The conference will feature keynote addresses, panel sessions, and breakout discussions, with participation from policy-makers, communication professionals, development partners, student leaders, and youth advocates. It aims to generate actionable recommendations that support national development goals and sustainable youth empowerment.”
